Meet Matt Cortez, Esq.
Matt Cortez brings 14 years of experience as a California real estate licensee and a background in real estate law to his leadership of Good Harbor Real Estate.
Serving residential and commercial clients throughout Southern California, he approaches real estate with an understanding of both the transaction and the legal issues that can shape its outcome.
In his law practice, Matt focuses on real estate litigation and transactional work. His experience includes purchase agreement disputes, disclosure issues, transaction documents, title matters, and residential and commercial leases. That perspective informs his attention to contract terms, negotiations, and the details buyers and sellers must consider when making a move.
Matt serves on the boards of directors of Orange County REALTORS® and the California Association of REALTORS®, contributing to the profession at both the local and state levels.
He graduated magna cum laude from the ABA-accredited Western State College of Law, where he served as Student Bar Association President and Outside Articles and Symposium Editor of the Law Review. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, summa cum laude, from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
At Good Harbor Real Estate, Matt leads a team serving homebuyers, sellers, commercial clients, and property investors.

She is also a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) and a First-Time Home Buyer Specialist, allowing her to serve both local and international clients with knowledgeable, personalized guidance.
She is an active member of the Global Business Alliance Committee and serves as a Board Member of the Orange County Women’s Business Chamber, reflecting her strong commitment to business development, networking, and community involvement.
